FAQs

Please check here before booking or inquiring to skip the reply time! We will do our best to get back to you as soon as possible, but are a very busy operation, so here are some popular questions we often receive:

  • A: Head over to the booking tab on this website for all booking requirements.

  • A: We try to be very flexible and customize each ride to suit your needs! We inquire about each rider weights upon scheduling and reserve the right to refuse participation based off of horse availability or saddle fit. Must provide accurate weight and experience level for the safety of you and your horse. Rider and horse safety is a top priority, and while we have a variety of horse and saddle sizes, we cannot always accommodate.

  • A: We are a customizable operation, but we must be informed upon booking if there are concerns that may affect an individual’s ability to ride a horse. Once again, we prioritize the safety of our guests, our staff, and our horses. Certain ages, disabilities, health concerns, etc. can be quite dangerous on a horse.

If you have had a recent surgery, have a chronic physical ailment, or are impaired in a manner that would affect your comfort and control of a horse, that is prohibited as it can greatly jeopardize your safety and the safety of our staff and horses.

We will do our best to accommodate specific circumstances, but we need to be aware of anything that may affect your ability to complete your ride in any capacity. We reserve the right to deny a rider the full-length or entirety of a ride who has not disclosed limitations.

  • A: Our daily group rides are walk only for the safety of our riders, horses, and staff. Our horses and wranglers are healthy, strong, and capable of providing a ride with trotting or loping sections, but we do require a private ride booking to accommodate a faster paced ride experience.

  • A: If you have an additional rider(s) wanting to join last minute we will do our best to accommodate but cannot make any guarantees. We have multiple wranglers and rides booked for one day that may conflict, so adding to a rider is solely dependent on if we have the correct horse available for the time of YOUR booked ride.

  • A: Unfortunately, due to our tight schedule, if you are late to your departure time then your deposit will be forfeited. You may reschedule with an additional deposit.

  • A: Cancellations or “no-shows” will still be charged as the horses will be there and ready for the ride. We know horseback riding is not for everyone, but unfortunately, if you have a last-minute choice not to ride, we will still require payment in full. We require a minimum of a 24-hour notice for cancellations in order to refund the deposit or full payment. You will still be charged for your ride even if you do not make it on the day of.
